inlingua Singapore : Maxi Intensive Mandarin Chinese
(5 hours per day)(Clementi only)
A student may enrol
throughout the year. Start dates are every 4 weeks.
The maximum group size is 15.
Speaking practice is Monday to Friday 9 - 11am. You will be taught in Mandarin Chinese. Please do not speak your own language in class. The inlingua method stresses speaking and listening. Students should speak as much as possible. The teacher will use visuals and special exercises.
Students should do at least 1 hour of listening per day. Please borrow a tape at reception. The listening tapes match the worksheets you will be given. There is no teacher to guide you and you can listen slowly or quickly. You can listen 8-9am or after lunch. You should listen for the 4 tones in Chinese.
During Chinese character writing tutorials, you will learn the correct order of the strokes.
