inlingua Singapore : Intensive General English Language Courses
Full-time courses are designed for foreign nationals who wish to come to Singapore to study a language on a full-time basis. To do this you will need to apply to the Singapore Government for a student pass.
You may enrol for a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 lessons per day. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes and is followed by a 10 minute break.
For our General Purpose programmes there are 24 testing levels ranging from complete beginners to very advanced classes. After an initial Placement Test (both Written and Oral), new students are put into a group class, according to their level of competence.
In the case of group lessons, there are a minimum of 5 and maximum of 15 students per class.
Regular progress tests, every 3 or 4 weeks, help the teachers monitor each student’s mastery of each language level in the course. The overall training system is rigorous and effective.
