inlingua Singapore : Malay / Indonesian Language Courses
The Malay / Indonesian Language Department offers a wide range of Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia Language Courses.
Our teachers come from Singapore or Indonesia. They are all native speakers and university graduates, trained to teach Malay / Indonesian as a foreign language.
The Malay / Indonesian Department offers full-time intensive and part-time courses, individual tuition and group lessons, Malay / Indonesian for general and specific purposes, long and short duration courses.
Full-time courses are designed for locals or foreign nationals who wish to come to Singapore to study a language on a full-time basis. To do this you will need to apply to the Singapore Government for a student pass.
You may enrol for 3 lessons per day. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes and is followed by a 10 minute break.
For our General Purpose programmes there are 8 testing levels ranging from complete beginners to intermediate classes. After an initial Placement Test (both Written and Oral), new students are put into a group class according to their level of competence.
Regular progress tests, every 4 weeks, help the teachers monitor each student’s mastery of each language level in the course. The overall training system is rigorous and effective.
