Russian Language Courses

The Russian Language Department offers a wide range of Russian Language Courses.

Our teachers come from Russia. They are all native speakers trained to teach Russian as a foreign language.

The Russian Department offers both full-time intensive Russian and part-time courses, individual tuition and group lessons, Russian for general and specific purposes, long and short duration courses.

Full-time courses are designed for locals or foreign nationals who wish to come to Singapore to study a language on a full-time basis. To do this you will need to apply to the Singapore Government for a Student Pass.

Russian Holiday Courses for Singapore School Children are available in June and November-December, Monday to Friday, 9am-12pm. This includes 10 hours of speaking plus 5 hours of self-access listening per week (minimum 4, maximum 15 participants per class).

You may enrol for 3 lessons per day. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes and is followed by a 10 minute break.

For our General Purpose programmes there are 8 testing levels ranging from complete beginners to intermediate classes. After an initial Placement Test (both Written and Oral), new students are put into a group class according to their level of competence.

Regular progress tests, every 4 weeks, help the teachers monitor each student’s mastery of each language level in the course.  The overall training system is rigorous and effective.
